The Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca

Day started with a great breakfast then off to visit a mosque that has a minaret (that's the tower behind us in the picture) that is the tallest religious structure in the world.  We we able to actually go inside since we were there when it was not prayer time.  Learned quite a bit about the faith and it's traditions.  This Mosque can accommodate over 25,000 worshipers.  It is a very male dominated religion as you might already know.
Here in Morocco, the faith, fortunately, for us tourists especially, does not demand we adhere to their traditions.  As a matter of fact, it's pretty liberal in dress regarding females. Yes, many practicing Muslim women cover their heads and some sort of 'dress' type covering... but other practicing women not so much.  So, as you look at folks on the street, you see all kinds of dress.
