We decided on a car trip with our new car, Ruby, who happens to be an electric car! This would be a different adventure, as we will stop every 300 miles or so to fill her up... as in 'Charge' that little lady. We get free charges at the Tesla Super Stations, so we took full advantage of that. Additionally, some of the hotels had what are called 'Destination Chargers'. We took I-5 down to get to Tucson, stopping for visits with folks along the way. We spent about 2 1/2 weeks in Tucson with the Diva's and their spouses. Even had a visit from Joe and Rita.
Coming home, we took a different way going through Flagstaff, etc. Visited National Monuments, Antelope Canyon, etc.... but more importantly, planned to visit a couple of special folks! We left Sunday morning and got to Fircrest, Friday afternoon!
Now, I got kinda lazy with blogging this trip... I did manage to create my photo journals, so that is what I am posting instead.
Trips are so fun... yet, it's always fun to come home!
