Saying good bye is so hard to do!

So, the time finally came, when we had to say goodbye... Again, I repeat, it is so good to have female friends, that are true friends... We laugh, we share what's going on and we have our wine (or Martini's or ?)  The drinks are a fun part, but certainly not the BEST part and we could even skip them, and still have fun.... Oh, and by the way, Julie introduced us to the game of Farkle... What a hoot!... And I can say, I was the Farkle Queen... won both games (which is unusal for me..)

Liz is trying her best to get the suitcase, stuffed with her new goodies, in the car... Whew!  It fit (and was even underweight at the airport!)

Julie found the cutest purse... we were all admiring it... hmmmm.. wonder what Jen's will say?

Lots of military planes, no longer in use, but wrapped so they can be called up, or sold, or ???  Also, other properties boasted Plane Boneyards... We drove by, but didn't get to visit, a superb Air Force Museum... Had all kinds of planes... I recognized a B-47... I know my dad few the last one to the desert... when they were no longer being used.... Hmmmm, Wonder.... could the one I saw be the same one???? Jerry and I will be returning to this great place... and we will check it out!

Breakfast ala Christy and then Saguaro National Park -Beautiful

Our day started with a lovely brekky that Christy prepared... The fruit Julie brought was perfectly ripe!  After we were all full, off we went to tour the Saguaro National Park.  Beautiful, but, in a different way than one is use to.  The weather was just perfect.... not hot, hot, hot and not chilly!  The cactus and plants were just starting to bloom.  In about two weeks, the whole desert will be in bloom.  And saying that, it seems like we just got here and now, tomorrow, we will be going home, sigh!  We've created so many new memories... and will be looking forward to more in the time to come.  Well, I'm beat!  I wanted to say so much, but my eyes are gonna need toothpicks to stay open!  Divas... You are the best!  Missed you Cyn!

And... we're off again... this time to the upscale mall and Acacia for dinner!

So, you saw my post on facebook... before our day of Diva adventures began, Julie and I went walking about 7am-ish... We started together, then separated as she did her power walk and I did some geocaching...  I was successful in finding two caches... AND in finding a huge snake... scared me to death.  I've only seen little garden snakes... this guy was no garden snake... didn't deter from looking for the cache... well, maybe a little bit... but I was successful.
After cleaning up and having brekky, Julie and I headed to Christy's to pick up she and Liz.  We were excited and ready to go.  Went into a store call "Total Wine"... awesome spot for every kind of alcohol you can imagine.  Julie said they're opening one up in her town, Vancouver, WA... Almost a sensory overload at all the stuff they had.  Of course, connected to that store, was another mall... not even the one that was our destiniation... managed to make a dent in finding some things that one just couldn't live without.

We got there... and, heck, it's been 4 hours since we ate... time for some delish gelato! The store, called Frost, was impeccable... the gelato yummy (although I missed out on it...they said it was great!).

LaEncanta Mall... beautiful...and expensive... no money left my wallet here.. which is good... cuz it has in the the other places!

We call these the bottle brush plant... and these little red circular string things, are the beginning of the burst of growth!

Like I said... so pretty... and the faint odor of jasmine in the air...

Happy Hour prices for our meals... and Blood Orange Margaritas!  The end of another great day... we have only one more full day left here...It's going way to fast!

Off to Stein Mart... Okay, we're from Tacoma, we don't have em here!

Started today off about 9am... yup... nice and early... but not too early.  Had plans for brekky at a certain restaurant... got there... guess what... they are only open for breakfast on Sat and Sunday.... Plan B... another super place that we liked even better... The Blue Willow... highly suggest it if you're in Tuscon!  Once we were satiated, we headed out to the car to hit up Stein Mart... but, wait... a gift shop in the restaurant stopped us and a few purchases suddenly ensued!
Back on the road... and you can see Liz and Christy's excitement!!! SHOPPING!!!!

Okay... home from supporting the local economy... bags in tow!

Okay... Is that one yours?  Oh no, wait it's mine.... Hmmm, maybe we should mail this stuff home...

All the pretty's Jean got...sorry Jerry... I just broke down!

After a hard day out... The pool beckons.... Heat, Sun, Wonderful!

Back to out condo... time for some appy's and happy hour!  Yup.. Diva's know how to do it right!

Then... the music comes out... and we're all a dancing and moving to the beat... while cooking and continuing our happy hour!  "She's a Brick House....lalalalalal"  You just have to move when you hear those songs!
