To get to our room, we had to hike down 200 + steps... We were exhausted...

Sorry folks... no internet.... no posting... released baby turtle, one baby met his end with an igwana... and on it goes...
Home now... had so many more experiences... lots of pictures... lots of humidity... and lots of fun!
Hacienda Baru
Actual rock on the beach...
Vultures just waiting for any food that may come along
We waked to the turtle sanctuary... and lo and behold, several more turtles had hatched! They had already taken the hatched kids down to the beach and thought they got all of them...ended up about 30 more had hatched!
One little guy got gobbled up... right in front of our eyes... sniff sniff
Relaxing after our hikes and saving the turtles! Saw some sloths while walking in the jungle... not much to see other than a blob of fur way up!!!!
Real Cacao... Chocolate bean....
and this is what it looks like... takes sweet, but not at all like our version of chocolate
