Not a lot to talk about, but the pictures tell the story!
We stopped for a small hike and were rewarded with some sweat, strong leg muscles developing, and gob smack gorgeous views! Saw one mom on the trail with a 5 yr, 4yr and an 12 month old in her front backpack hiking up the path... I kept saying, 'If she can do it, I can to it!' over and over in my head. The temp was in the low 80's, overcast so the whole journey could have been a whole lot worse.
After we finished (completed 4 miles altogether), we cleaned up as it was rather dusty, and found a nice place for our lunch. We downed quite a few Arnold Palmer Ice Teas... we were so thirsty as we didn't bring enough water with us on the hike. Hoped back in the car and we were in Spokane within a couple hours and checked into our hotel: "The Historic Davenport". Had some Bonvoy points, so our stay for three nights is not costing anything. The place is beautiful... and "The Peacock Room", where we had a dinner of appies and my Cucumber Martini, was superb. Back in our room, and resting... Tomorrow we plan on walking on the River Walk and checking out the area... Temps due to be 95 tomorrow, so, we'll be out early!
A crop duster... We saw one in Idaho too! So weird cuz the fields are on the side of the freeway so they appear to be buzzing our road...
