After a delightful stay last night, we hit the path to journey on. The walk today was very wet...rain all day.... muddy and a bit slippery. We showed up wet to the bone here in Pamplona! I very pleased to be done for the day. Notice the picture of my blue poncho... I didn't realize just how CHEAP it was but as you can see, it is shredded now. Branches, etc took their toll. I do have a rain jacket, so I'll be wearing that in the future... The poncho did not protect me much! I had my passport in my pant side pocket along with my Camino credential (it's a paper that you have stamped at each place as you travel) & they were soaked). I had plastic bags for them, but, in preparing to leave in the morning, hadn't remember to protect those items in said bag. Fortunately, they have dried out (and the phone), so plastic bag will be used in the future! Also, because of the rain, not many pictures of the scenery...
The Albergue we are staying at is a Municipal Albergue... seriously toying with no longer using the Municipal ones. They tend to be huge! After last nights treat of just 10 people, these large ones are not near as inviting. This place is decent, clean, but... way too many people.
Had some dinner with my travel mates, even some wine... After dinner, we toured a cathedral there. Jean and I have viewed lots of cathedrals in our travels and these are more of the same. It's interesting how opulent they can be.
I'm not sure how long our little group will travel together. We don't all have the same goals, so I am imagining there might be some change-up tomorrow. My hands are getting better, but still not well. I've been on an antibiotic which warned about the sun... now I know why!
We use 'Find Friends' so I can see where Jerry is... I made a collage of three different shots that are more than just the map I see. Pretty cool... even shows that the sun has set where he is... Jean

Here's a history on this Albergue
Yup, lots of folks....
My palatial bed on the bottom!
Hoping the sun shines again soon. Have had clouds off & on in Lisboa with possible rain tomorrow. Stick with your plan & pace yourself. Walk on....
