Shaka Tour of the South Island

Stopped at Cheeseburger in Paradise for lunch than proceeded on for our Shaka Tour (App we use on our phone tied into GPS, pretty cool!).  Saw lots of different beaches, views, went to the Pali Lookout and ended up taking a short detour on the old Pali Highway.  Saw a sign for some falls, so we stopped and visited them.  Just gonna post some nice pictures…  To be honest, I don’t even remember the names of all the beaches!!!  But we did get a bridge picture… you really have to look to see us but we are there!

Got home and left shortly for a dinner in the densely, crowded Waikiki area of hotels… OH  MY GOODNESS!  Just like being in NYC!!!  Dinner was good, but not sure if all the hassle to get there was rewarded!  Jerry ordered this fish stew because a lady diner was leaving and bent over to us and said how good it was… Well, Jerry said he wished he hadn’t listened to her… Not that good.  Halley ordered a 32oz Porterhouse… yes I said 32 ounces, that would be 2 lbs… She managed to eat more than half, we all got a bit of the meat, and it was quite tasty, but… 32 ounces worth of tasty???  I’ll take my bowl of Gnocchi any day!

The humor here is he is using the camera to shade his eyes... what a turkey!
