Well that's a croc!!!! And Holy Cow... those poor girls need to be milked!

Woke up to the howler monkeys again... even manage a couple pics... mind you, this is at 5:15 am... no sleeping in while in the Rain Forest!  A long day of driving took us from Arenal to the seaside village of Dominical where we stayed at the Hacienda Baru... Gonna miss the comforts of airconditioning that's for sure... but still very pretty and simple!  Not much internet from here on out.  Gonna be nice...
It was a long day driving, but we were blessed with lots of beautiful scenery.  Even before we left Arenal's long dirt road, we ran into a great photo op... and then, looked down... leaf cutter ants were doing their job and spent lots of time photographing them... well, me not so much, but all the others had great lenses and patience and got lots of pictures... while Layne was busy teaching and giving hints on how to make shots better!  Love that guy's ability to teach!
Anyway... we kept on moving, and found a line of cows taking the walk to get milked (this is late morning, early afternoon).  Was fun watching how their personalities and peculiarities came into place.  They sure like routine and us being there kinda upset their little brains, if you know what I mean.
Journeyed on and had lunch at the Crocodile Restaurant and then walked to the Tarcoles River Bridge where we took pics of the huge crocs, while taking our lives into our own hands as the cars and trucks went zipping by at 50 MPH without even paying attention to us.  Stopped for a bit when we got to the seaside... and saw our first Macaws... cooL!
Got to our destination... and this place was quaint... Very simple and yet very pretty surroundings.. plus they had a pool that looked so inviting.... and it was!  Dinner was a bit of a challenge... the kitchen was being remodeled, they had no chef, so, the ordering was very simple... easy to make a choice when you have very little to choose from... Arroz con... Pollo, or Veggies or Camarone's,.. you get my point!
