Dragon’s Teeth? In Maui???

Yes there are and the famous ‘Book’ told us where to find them.  Really an interesting form of Lava, different from all the black lava you see here.  (Yet, surrounding this lava, was the more traditional black lava).  Walked further out on the jetty, but not all the way to then end… Man.. pointy, uneven hardened lava is not that easy to walk on…
There is a virtual Geocache out there, got to claim that too!

This is dried lava rock... not a lick of water on it...

See the teeth????

Looking out at the jetty.... and it goes beyond there even...

I love the waves crashing.... can you tell?

Now, this pic is looking at where we were standing as I took the previous pics... You can see some folks there... but we had walked out to the left edge... Didn't realize how far that was till we got on this side of the rocks...

Locals doing some fishing.... too scary for me to go out there!

Prayer Labyrinth... right out there... off of Kapalua (which is where the Dragon's Teeth Beach area is).  It's huge.  As we were walking out the jetty, Jerry decided he wanted to use it for it's purpose... I did some exploring aroung the rocks on my own...

Walking back to the car, you have to walk along part of the Kapalua Golf Course.  Found this weird looking plants off the beaten track.

Looking from the Golf Course, out to the sea....
