In search of geocaches and, more importantly, a purse! Successful on both accounts. This little bridge below is gonna be our official bridge pic for the trip... Found this spot cuz there's a geocache in that area... told ya, you find all sorts of little surprises when geocaching!
Had lunch at Guy Fieri's new restaurant in Times Square... A local reviewer had slammed it and gave it bad reviews... sorta made the news cuz the reviewer seem to go overboard. Well, we ate there.. it was quite yummy and service was great... so, did the review create that... or was it just a nasty review?
With our hunger satisfied, we started our walk/explore down Broadway... ran into Macy's of course! They were still working on the Christmas windows and I managed to grab a few shots... some including the designers working on the windows. Jerry and Jilli were good sports waiting as I photographed! About then, mother nature was calling, so went into the store to find a place to answer that need. That store really is, I think, the largest department store in the area. We even located the wooden escalators...Can't believe they are still operating? Got our business taken care of then we were back on the road. We were headed to Chinatown for some items Jilli was looking for....We finally made it there, and she came, she saw, she conquered... and even bartered a great deal!
Walked over to Little Italy... stopped for a canoli and cappuccino! No way was I in the mood to walk the 3 1/2 miles back home, so we went in search of the subway. Found the station... but,due to my directions/suggestions, had us get on a train that dropped us off a few blocks to the east of where we wanted to be... Not that far from home... but dang..I didn't want to walk anymore... Next time, I should listen to our kidlet who had a different idea... lesson learned!

Everyone is still full of energy for the day... and we haven't even eated... fun walk through the water!
The little parks throughout the cit... they're getting all spruced up for the Macy's Parade coming up in a couple days!
Macy's Christmas windows... they're quite colorful this year... and designers are still working on them...
The wooden escalator... in great shape... noticed all the escalators in the store run way quicker than ours do at home... I mean, you really have to watch as you get on and off!
This is one of my favorite Christmas displays! They are perfect, even to the hooks on the ornaments!
The sparkle lights in the trees are everywhere...
New York, New York, It's a wonderful town
The Bronx is up and the Battery's down,
The people ride in a hole in the ground,
New York, New York..... It's a helluva town!
From, "On The Town"... and I was singing it in my head the whole day!
