Once we got up and moving, we headed our for an explore of the area on foot! 4 1/2 Miles later we returned home! Very easy walkable city... First the buildings in the city (pop 60,000 btw), then to the waterfront with lots of restaurants, docks and hub-bub of activity, even on a Sunday Morning!
We continued on and eventually got to the Bay (Casco) with pretty views, islands in the distance and even a sail boat race. The area so reminds me of the Puget Sound Area... Was a bit of a drizzle at first but that quickly subsided. Oh, lots of brick sidewalks... in fact, that's all we say... and boy, not handicap accessible! Some real trippers as you walk along! Hard to check out the houses cuz you really have to watch where your feet are on the bricks!
Got home, relaxed and showered, then off to a great dinner here at the hotel in "The Union"... the best roasted carrots and biscuits, flavored with a salt/honey topping... almost like dessert!
Tomorrow a Food Tour... but first, a good nights sleep!
