Melbourne isn't pronounced Melbourne, more like "Milbin"... really!

So, after our travel day yesterday, topped off with a nice Italian dinner, I crashed big time!  I was asleep before 8pm… not sure what was up, but I slept like a log!
Woke up and looked out our window, which is in the city, and saw Hot Air Balloons floating by.  Now that was a cool site!  But, before that, I need to share that  I was in shock at just how big and metropolitan Melbourne is.  We arrived on Saturday, so the Saturday evening crowd was in full force.  It was such a contrast to Hobart!  And then the Hot Air Balloons gracefully floating over the city… It was one of those “What doesn’t belong in this picture?” sorta things.  Managed to grab a few pics and could even see the flames in some of the balloons.  Nifty!
Headed out for an explore after brekky… walked and walked and then took the free Circle Line Tram, which is sorta like a hop on / hop off bus.  The tram would fill with folks and a couple stops later, the crowd would shrink, only to build up again at the next stop!  Got off who knows where, but we did determine it was near the Chinese section of the city.  This city is really diversified… Lots of cultures here and lots of different ethnic foods – very little Mexican though…heehee.  We made our way back to the hotel.
Oh, by the way, we went to church here this morning.  Was a really nice service and is so nice to feel at home in a worship experience.  The church is relatively new and was built in the middle of the bustling city.  Great message from the pastor too, so it was pretty cool!
Went to dinner on the Colonial Tram Car!  Now that was fun… and the food was delish!  We boarded just before six, rode through town at a meandering speed, enjoyed bubbly, wine, dinner and dessert!  Met some great folks at the table next to us, which made our experience even more enjoyable!  The zerts were pretty good too!
Walked home and, I think, I forgot to mention there is a food festival going on here.  There were so many food trucks, special tents and even portable pizza ovens.  This city is truly filled with so much and such a variety of life!

Everyone needs a bowl of fruit in the waterway!  It was advertising how the clean water of Melbourne creates delicious fruits and veggies!
The church we attended.... right dab in the middle of sky-rises!

Big Wheels seem to be the thing in cities now-a-days!

Never know where you'll see some bees!!! These were on top of some buildings and we could see them from our hotel!

 The Dinner Train is a-coming!

 Zerts!
Our walk along the waterway back to the hotel!
Portable Pizza Ovens...
