A Train, A Boat, A Plane... naw... no plane...

Took an hour ride on the Flamsbana Railway up 2800 feet into the fjord. Beautiful sights all along the way... Sun shining so brightly, it actually made it difficult to take pictures... but I would not ever complain!  It was a electric train... way more advanced than the ones here in our area.  The trip down... faster than the trip up for sure... braking most of the way... all in all it was about two hours.
When that was over, we headed to the Gudvangen ferry that would take us across the Noeroy/Sognefjord... That ride was two and a half hours... with gorgeous views the whole time.  Again, the sun played havoc as one side of the fjord was overly bright while the other side was in shadows... I guess if I was a pro I would know how to compensate for it... alas... it's just me!

We are now in Loen... and will be for the next three nights... heading here and there during the day.  Tomorrow we are suppose to go to the Briksdal Glacier and hike up pretty close to it!

This is the view from our bedroom window and deck....

These little sheep... just moseying down the road... was funny!
