Griffin, I found out the name of the plant in the post way down ....

I didn't hear back from you, so I checked with the folks here.  It is the NONI plant....
They said that the noni was probably the native Hawaiian's most important medicinal fruiting plant, although most of the medicinal applications are from other parts of the tree--not the fruit itself. It is a common naturalized tree on all of the major islands, identified by its large, glossy-green leaves, and warty, white fruits that have a very strong and disaggreable odor.
They make Noni Juice.... but it taste really bad from what they told me.  Think I'll pass on that....

  2. Sorry we missed out on the research opportunity! Cam was sick so we weren't checking in here.

Ahhh, good ol' Noni- Ron's aunts take Noni Juice every day for all of it's "magical" medicinal properties.

    Love the gorgeous pictures- amazing!

  3. Jean, I can vouch for Noni juice. Its great when flavored with blueberry and grape as the one is that I drink. I've drank it for about 6 years now. See me about it when you get back -- whenever that is! Such a traveler and I do like the pictures, especially the bridges.
