Just another spring day in Minneapolis. The weather ran the extremes.... but we were nice and protected during the first half. Minnesota Life College had it's graduation today and we attended. It's really something to see these young people grow during the three years here and then graduate.... All of the 9 graduates this year are going to continue with the Graduate Living Community. It's interesting how a school that started to help the more severe learning disable is becoming a great support system for them when they graduate.... good deal!
Halley has had a bit of a crummy day. Plans with two different friends flaked out. She has a bit of a problem handling disappointments and this was no exception. We all at first try to help her, then she becomes very unhappy with us, so we all just kinda learn to ignore her.... but, it does not help us feel any better about any of it. Her emotions are always right on the surface.... when she's happy, we all are happy.... and when she's not, well, like I said, we've learned to let her process it herself.....
Tomorrow we met Patti at the airport and she flys home with us to visit and be there for Jillian's graduation.... I'm excited!
