Facebook Took All My Pics!... Not Really! Just finding not enough time to blog on this portion of the trip!

Well, not really, but internet has been so dicey as we are traveling, Facebook seems to be handling things for me easier.  We've been touring the National Parks in Southern Utah. The beauty of each park is so different... yet one thing in common... stunning rock formations... reaching up to the sky.  We've walked trails, stopped at view points, & drank lots of water.  So far, this retirement business is quite fun... but a bit tiring.  We miss our little Oliver who's with Jillian and Steve.  Guess we miss them too!!!
Anyway... just a couple pics today here... from the parks... We've seen wild turkeys, deer, rabbits, and mountain goats.  Have some pics of the animals, but more emphasis on the scenery.  Some critters get skittish and the photo's end up blurred.
We also got a bridge picture... a nice gentleman helped us with that.  We've taken some selfies along the way and again, folks volunteer to take a pic of us with our camera.  Now, we also do the same for others.  Selfie sticks are nice, but when one has a bigger style camera, they're not so useful.

Sedona.... Look Out... The Vortex is Here!

Just teasing... It's really a pleasant little place... will not so little... very expensive...lots of art gallery/stores... and GOB SMACKED GORGEOUS Red Rocks climbing up to the sky all around.  We spent today walking, geocaching and taking a Pink Jeep Tour!  What an 'E-Ticket' Disney ride!  When things first started, I though... not so much... but wow 30 minutes into it... all I can say is our organs inside our bodies have been rearranged after that trip.  Of course, being one dimensional they don't really convey the ups and downs!

When we got back to town, we walked a bit more... and ended up leaving uptown heading for the south end where we had a great meal.  Got back to our digs about 5, made plans for the next two nights and using the down time to get some of the pics posted!  Sedona is a photographers dream... Truly we are blessed on this trip... every day!

As soon as we really get to off roading... the three boys... the blue in the picture... all suddenly had to go to the bathroom...
Quite humorous... as you can tell by Jerry's look on his face!
two of the three... full of giggles... they loved the bouncing around...

Hey Lady... be careful... there's a horse rearing up next to you!

Jerome... A Modern Day Hippie Town...

On our way to Sedona, well, it really wasn't on the way, but we made it on the way, we stopped at Jerome.  We heard that it's a small artsy, hippie feeling town... and, that was good description... We could smell the incense, listen to the timbre of bells... you know all that stuff.  But, we did find out, Jerome of today is way different.

Jerome's personality has changed dramatically in the past 40 years. Once a thriving mining camp between the late-1880s and early 1950s with a population of 15,000, Jerome is now a bustling tourist magnet and artistic community with a population of about 450. It includes a modicum of artists, craft people, musicians, writers, hermits, bed and breakfast owners, museum caretakers, gift shop proprietors and fallen-down-building landlords.

Wish we could have spent more time there. There were no RSVP's left in any of the hotels/lodging.  So, a great meal at "Grapes" filled us up and off we went!
