We're celebrating a wedding anniversary, and what better spot than the Salish Lodge. Located right on the Snoqualmie River, right as it drops 268 feet and continues on west. The river has been used for producing electricitiy at this junction... a fall created by mother nature provides the energy (with a few enhancements by man to increase the production.
The lodge has been here for over 100 years! First built in 1919, as you can imagine, it's been reimagined and remodeled, most recently in 1988. They did a beautiful job.
We enjoyed the view that first night... and, the next day, we saw it in the daylight! Two different views, both equally beautiful!
